Manufactured specifically for Bigelow and Kennard, this clock was made in the colonial revival style popular in the early 1900’s
Movement is an 8 day time and deep coil gong strike manufactured in Germany (no other maker information listed on the movement).
Dial is in excellent condition with the exception of dime sized paint loss below the time train winding hole (looks like a previous repairman twisted the dial post and popped the paint off).
Scenes of country life are in the four corners of the dial.
Lunar dial has the two moons, a German castle scene and a very unusual nautical theme (large lifeboat with crewmen abandoning their tall ship in a storm).
