Seth Thomas “Roy”
This is a Seth Thomas Adamantine finish mantle clock.  Adamantine is a celluloid plastic heat-formed over a wood cased clock.  The patent was purchased by Seth Thomas, so no other manufacturers we allowed to use it.  It came in a variety of colors and patterns (rosewood, zebrawood, solid black, solid white, green marble, Brazilian onyx, etc.).  This finish is good for the life of the clock and it will retain its shine.  “Roy” features an 8 day time and strike movement on a coil gong and a  silvered dial.
