Eight day time and strike movement, most likely imported from England.

Strikes upon a deep coil gong.

Dialfeatures hand painted lunar dial and functional date wheel (not a perpetualdate wheel).

Golden oak case with twisted columns, “hairy paw” feet, broken pedimenttop with large center finial,

modifiedegg and dart molding, and other details evoking a blend of traditional Englishhall clocks

and Edwardian style.

There are ink stamps on the backboard of the clock indicating it wasserviced by the Walter Durfee Clock Co.

during its lifetime as well.
