Seth Thomas "Onyx" Adamantine Seth Thomas' alternative to expensive stones was Adamantine, a celluloid veneer. This one
is meant to simulate onyx. The movement is a standard Seth Thomas 7-day time and strike movement, with the hour strike
on a coil and the half-hour strike on a brass bell. The patinated bronze griffons on each side, as well as the scroll
